The other day I got praised at work for, quite frankly, being good at what I do. It felt good getting a little recognition for what I do. However, this post isn't about the praise, glory or congratulations. Sure it's nice, but praise isn't guaranteed. This is about all the times someone does their job and doesn't get credit. For the one's in the background that are easily forgotten. It's those people that make everything work. Whenever you watch your favorite sitcom(s), the actors may get all the lime-light, but without the producers, writers, director, camera-operators and so on, there would be no sitcom(s). My message to all my fellow background workers, keep it pushing. Just stay in your lane, do your work well, occasionally go above and beyond, and keep a good attitude, appreciation will be shown your way.
